Since we knows shes coming, but dont know where she will land. A place to touch base.
I hope everyone finds the time to secure their property and prepare. Since it was the end of summer we are in good shape with stuff around the yard. So all we have to do is wait! I hope it passes you all safely. joan* |

John and wife,
Condolences on the shore house. The bright side, after all is settled with insurance, you can buy something bigger, better, stronger and can host wicked parties! When's the house warming party? :-) |

So sorry to hear John. Shame. Nothing to say here but, its a mess. The closest I've been to my beaches, Mantoloking, Ortley, Island State Park is 4 block south of Jenkinsons in Pt Pleasant! Not really that close..
I hope you are all well. joan* |

John - So sorry for your loss. You asked about how others fared and overall, the people of the Fora did ok. Some lost power for days and many had friends & family have more signifcant damage. Several people have volunteered to help their communities and many of us are donating to charities that are trying to assist the displaced. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. I prefer to help on the most direct level possible (versus a national charity).

Thanks Been, Nic and Frank,
it's just a weird feeling when you see your house for the first time after the storm and it's a 2 foot tall pile of rubble. |
