WNC, yes, they did. Unfortunately, unlike Rain Man, they were not excellent drivers.

"Loved the clips of the meteor streaking across the sky and blowing up. That must be somewhat like the last thing the dinosaurs saw!!!"

Dinosaurs had dashboard cams?

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. Next time some people hear there is a meteor shower coming, they'll go to the basement.

I can't believe I spelled "stoichiometry" wrong. I just saw the red underline and figured why bother there's no way the spell check here knows that word.

Media is demonstrating their mass ignorance with this story. I can't count how many stories are calling this a "meteor shower". It's not a fucking shower.

Although the difference between a meteor and an asteroid is subjective, a true asteroid would be a total calamity if it collided with earth. This is an well above average meteor.

The energy released is being estimated at 500 kt TNT. My estimate of 100-400 kt is not really that bad! Woo hoo!

Some are now calling this meteor an asteroid. The 2 closest asteroids of this size in over a hundred years arrive on the same day.
