You fear risk because you fear losing what meager existence you already claim to have. Honestly, you should be the one MOST willing to risk because you have the LEAST to lose. Mathematically, the odds are in your favor. Yet you hesitate. And because of that, you have already lost. And you put way too much faith in a college education. Unless you have a professional degree like medicine or law, five years after graduation all degrees are worthless on a resume compared to experience. And the only way to get experience is to put yourself out there and work. And I am quite impressed by your ability to tell me what my generation did during the 1980s. I'm sure when you were crawling around in diapers, you had a keen sense of what people of my generation were doing. We didn't lower our standards. We worked our butts off without whining and making excuses. My parents taught me the value of a good work ethic. Too bad your parents didn't teach you the same lesson.

That isn't a job maker worth their salt and ought not be listened to. We don't demand much... We demand fair treatment and a civilized society. A) That means medical for all. (minimum of a civilized society) B) An education system that prepares all the students in it for selecting college classes... Not telling them to be happy with factory work like mine did. (such schools ought to have its school board disbanded and the teachers reviewed for effectiveness.) C) That employers stop complaining about providing the minimums of a civilized society and start providing or expect to lose out to the federal government as it taxes them to provide for the masses that which is the minimum of a civilized society. So if you don't like living in a civilized society... Please leave the western world for Afghanistan, I hear that they are great capitalist... Go build your capitalist dream world there and see how long you last before crying for the light of civilization.. Which is by the way more socialist than capitalist in nature.

User Details are only visible to members.	profile: Forcing employers to provide anything isn't the point of the minimum wage laws as minimum wage doesn't provide growth, it reduces growth and destroy's jobs. As you said, employers raise rates based upon minimum wage laws... But all employers paying minimum wage after 1 year are already exploiting their workers, namely their uneducated, now skilled worker. (if after a year, the worker isn't skilled in the job in some way, that is the employers fault.) Any society which is based on only meeting the legal minimum is a society doomed to failure... The social minimum for all employers is full medical coverage, a pay which allows for upward mobility in society and education. If the employer must complain about a legal minimum wage... This employer ought not receive any tax breaks as this employer is simply exploiting their workers as they want to pay their workers even less than both the social and the legal minimum.

Webster helped me out: 1.the entire body of individuals born and living at about the same time: the postwar generation. 2.the term of years, roughly 30 among human beings, accepted as the average period between the birth of parents and the birth of their offspring. 3.a group of individuals, most of whom are the same approximate age, having similar ideas, problems, attitudes, etc. Compare Beat Generation, Lost Generation. Every time the minimum wage is raised, companies must raise their prices to afford it, so the minimum wage workers will always be at the bottom rung of the ladder. If the minimum wage was $100 per hour, all prices of goods and services (and wages above minimum wage) would go up accordingly and the person making $100 per hour would still be living in poverty.

As no one is hiring inexperienced people, leaving home to apply my craft is suicide.... I have already tried it and nearly didn't make it home due to the lack of money. So if you aren't fixing society, you are hurting society and I am not sorry that my instinctive instincts are to protect my countrymen from your greed and unwillingness to do your duty to your nation and its people by providing a meaningful pay and benefits... I am not sorry that I will not give you slack... You want the big pay? You want to be a leader of this nation (wealth = leader) then act it and learn that as your wealth increases, so do your responsibilities to your countrymen. If you want to shed these responsibilities, leave this nation and go to Iraq or some other bum fuck nation where you can exploit the locals... Because so long as you remain in this nation as civilized nation... You will respect your countrymen with a pay that shows your due respect or you will prove your inability to pay by living at a standard which is equal to the people.

They waste fuel, they are extremely expensive to maintain and they generally aren't useful for my needs... Which aren't many. (basic transport from one city to another, from home to work and when I must haul cargo greater than 30 pounds or that I can carry 5 miles in my hands.)
