When it comes to sex, I am a member of the 'independent party'. I believe that Politics/Organized Religion should be discussed independently of my bed. I fully support Seperation of the Church/State/Politics from Consenting Adult Sex Acts.

Well, yes religious exclamations such as "Oh God" and "Jesus Christ" are common.
I haven't had an "Allah be Praised" yet. It'll certainly catch me off guard if it happens. I did, however, once grab a girl by the hair and yell "AM I NOT MERCIFUL?!?" (a la Gladiator). It was an inside joke we shared. |

Religion is more off-limits than politics for me, because I see it as a deeply personal matter, and I do not wish to have my opinions on religion questioned, nor do I wish to question those of another. I have no interest in being told I'm wrong, or telling someone else that I think they are.

yes and no. Unlike you I don't care what party a person belongs to, as long as they can carry on a civil conversation if politics comes up. But generally that is not a topic that comes up for us during conversations with possible swing partners. Same as religion. Those are just things we tend not to let enter into playtime. I would guess about half our playmates are NOT of the same party as us.
