Another "epic" pet peeve: people getting a cheap thrill at another's expense. Not good.

PP: The use of the "axe" vs "ask", when asking someone for "identification" they don't know what that is but ask them for "I.D." they suddenly do. Receiving the check while out at a restaurant, before I've even begun to eat my meal....

Been said before, but I'll say it again - no pictures of the guy is a big pet peeve! But less of a pet peeve than it used to be, because now I just relax, write them off, and enjoy meeting with the couples and guys where they do have pictures of the guy.

Cheers to everyone who has some kind of decent public pic of the guy!

Tig, so does my wife and she's really good at it.

What is going on when people use text word in a forum , "pry' what the hell is that.

Maybe they just don't know how to use spell check. Misspelling something is fine and I can understand it but the other just seems dumb to me. Oh well, I sure I'll get shit for saying that. :-P

Using the word "epic" to describe an everyday, mundane thing is an epically, epic failure of epic proportions!

People and now businesses misusing the word "Epic."

For years we've used it in computer gaming usually followed by the word "fail," as in, "He drove his scout tank straight into the teeth of their defenses and got melted. Yeah, that was an epic fail."

A cookie company the other day ran a commerical stating that their oatmeal raisin cookies were low-salt, more healthy, and "Epic."

Now a woman's amazing ass, yep, that can be epic. A cookie? No fucking way.
