The 29-year-old woman, named only as Amina, was killed Thursday. Afghan police said they are investigating. ''The case of Amina demonstrates the failure of the Afghan government to protect, ensure and dispense justice, particularly for women,'' rights watchdog Amnesty International said Tuesday. Amnesty, citing reports from the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission, said the woman had been sentenced to death by a decree from a local religious figure, or mullah, in the Urgu district of northeastern Badakhshan province. Amnesty, citing eyewitnesses, said Amina's husband and local officials dragged her out of her parents' house before stoning her to death in public. Clinton was only impeached and O.J. acquitted! Not to sure I would want ONLY a hundred whippings but dam sure I wouldn't want to be stoned to death! Think about this, if you have sex with someone and because of that she is stoned to death how much guilt do you bear? At least she won't live with that forever! Very proud American!

User Details are only visible to members.	The sad thing is the world wont ever be free. We are having a hard time making our own country free. We are lucky to be born and living in the USA which has the most freedom of any country, its been a never ending battle to make and keep it that way.

User Details are only visible to members.	How sad, another case of how women are still so mistreated and uneuqal in other countries (even here); the man gets off with only 100 whippings, the woman dies a tragic, horrific death, being stoned to death, unreal.

User Details are only visible to members.	Actually, she wasn't swinging she was cheating. don't get me wrong I think it's horrible the way women get treated in some places. Don't forget that these counties are more religious than governmental. God only knows what has been done in the name of religion in these countries. Generations will have to pass before any of them begin to change. All I can say is I'm glad that we have the the freedom to live our lives in a way that shows compassion for all people.
