Believe it or not, i was spared the whole carpet thing. In the 70's I was a tween. I didn't start having *relations* until almost around 18 years old. By that time, carpets were out, small area rugs became the in thing ;)

The word lifestyle has bothered me from jump for this very reason. Of course, it was months before I could bring myself to use the word swinger because of the shag carpeting/gold chain/giant bush 1970 porn image it conjured for me.

Like I said, I'm not telling anyone to not use it, I'm just expressing my opinion, swinging is the accurate term to describe what we do. Lifestyle is just down right embarrassing. It makes it sound like everything that you in your daily life is about swinging.
