User Details are only visible to members.	The first meet always seems to take the longest. Like its never going to happen but it does. If you find you don't get many responses to your profile and are getting anxious. Look for a local event like a meet and greet. They are extremely helpful. All to often people we have said no thanks to based on profiles. Once we actually meet them or even the other way around we find out we are much better in person. Everyone is. if you don't have any local events try a club. They are pretty good. It will give you a total insight into the entire lifestyle. It is easy to meet people at clubs. They all go to hook up. Patients its all worth the wait. Unless you are in pa. Then give us a note we will show you lifestyle the pa way!!!

Its just not the south.The north hides its racism in their homes,in businesses and who they rent to.The south just puts it out there and then inserts those on tv! Out west they are snobbish about their racism. Yes a bit off track.......... Try the bars in town,stay away form the lesbian bars though, they despise bi females more then men.. A gay bar that addresses both men and women can also be a great place for what your looking for.We have had the ebst luck for bi females in the local pubs in town.Perhaps being a tourist mecca does not hurt in that avenue

I was born in northern Indiana, to parents who lived their entire lives until then in Indiana, as did THEIR parents. It is a little known fact that Indiana in the 1920s and 1930s was THE stronghold of the Ku Klux Klan! I never knew that until about 5 years ago! My parents were raised in that kind of social milieu, so they were racist even though they never joined the Klan. They both had a German father, too, and Germans in the 1920s and 1930s were not exactly famous for their tolerance of anyone not of the "Aryan" race. Paula and I are very proud that we broke the chain of racism and bigotry. Neither of our children is the least bit bigoted. And I think that aside from voting, which sometimes seem futile anyway, the most important thing we can do to fight bigotry and intolerance in any form is to raise our children to be free from that kind of bias. If we all raised our children to accept and tolerate all kinds of people without prejudice, we could stop that in this country. I know it's hard sometimes not to stereotype and generalize. In World War II, the United States even set up internment camps for Americans of Japanese ancestry - just for being JAPANESE! And look at how Arab-Americans are being treated today. And white racism toward black Americans is often the result of the fear of them because blacks are disproportionately involved in crime. That's indefensible, and Bill Cosby is correct that black parents, educators, and community leaders need to seize control of the situation. Of course they need help, but it can't be done without them. Still, in this country of all countries, there is no reason to harbor prejudice against anyone such that they are considered "guilty until proven innocent." Stereotyping a group IS prejudicial, and denies equal rights and liberties to the vast majority in those stereotyped groups who are hard working solid citizens trying their best to live in harmony and raise their kids to have the proper values. When the only thing we hear from the media is negative, it's easy to assume the worst about any group. But the vast majority of black Americans are NOT dangerous criminals, the vast majority of Hispanic-Americans are NOT illegal aliens and gang members, and the vast majority of Arab-Americans are NOT Al Qaida terrorists. I will continue to try to do my little part by espousing tolerance and understanding. But for now I think I'll just stop and hope that this topic gets back to helping newbies. Jim

Or ....... They are so new that they have no idea what they really want out of this and have never swung before.We have found this to be true since the oprah show. then you finally find that perfect couple that fits your type and all you can find is the bar called red tide in.

When we moved from upstate New York in January 1992 to Montgomery, Alabama, we experienced severe culture shock. First, we were informed, and only partly in gest, that "damnyankee" is all one word! We felt like our Civil Rights were violated because we could not rent a porno video for our own private use, and it was illegal to mail any porno videos into the state of Alabama from elsewhere. Whenever we met someone, we were asked the same 2 questions. "What church do you go to?" And "What does your daddy do?" Get that! What matters in your social standing is not what YOU do or may have accomplished in life, but what church do you go to and what does your DADDY do!!!!! I worked for a state agency, and the only non-whites working there were low-level secretaries and janitors. Every day, and I'm not exaggerating, EVERY DAY I heard hateful racist, sexist, and homophobic remarks. From the very same people who were so proud of what church they go to and what their daddy does! I used to search out the most provocative liberal quotes I could find, print them up, and tape them to my office door, then leave the door open so I could watch who stopped to read them and watch them shake their heads and walk away! My favorite of all was a quote from the late Harvard paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould, who wrote in his book "The Mismeasure of Man," the following: "I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cottonfields and sweatshops." You can imagine how they loved THAT quote! When we left Alabama at the end of 1994 after almost 3 full years, we felt like we had escaped from prison. I don't mean to single out Alabama. In fact, Auburn, Tuscaloosa, and Huntsville are particularly progressive and their populations above average in intelligence and education. But what makes those places stand out is how they contrast with most of the rest of the state - including Montgomery, the state capital. Almost 140 years after the Civil War, the states of the old Confederacy are still saddled with a plenty of racism, sexism, bigotry, and hatred of anyone not "lke them," and that includes Wiccans or pagans or outright atheists like us. I can well understand what you and your family endured. Jim

Latest figgers show there's more coyotes in Bedford county than people. This has a lot of advantages that we wouldn't give up for anything, but a lot of local swingers is not one of them. Mike
