That's what we did. Now our sound card software(Turtle Beach Santa Cruz ) has a nice sound control panel with sound check. Not sure how that would balance or interfere with a non-comp sound board. but would be worth experimenting with.

That simple, just tap into comps speaker outputs?

Not sure if this will work the same for you Mike, but we have a surround sound system hooked to our computer. It is plugged into the speaker jack on the back of the comp and works great. We have Turtle Beach sound in comp with Altec Lansing THX speakers. If you ask our neighbor it works too great!! (got to remember to turn volume down when hubby plays a porn movie, LOL) Mrs. Things

Sorta on the same subject, can anyone give me advice on connecting our comp to our stereo/mixing board, so we can play music files over our stereo and PA system? Thanks,

Those flash drives are a pretty nifty device for transferring files via USB. Not too costly, just make sure you purchase one with sufficient storage size. Also we have a USB cord and software called Ditto Intellimover that is awesome. You plug it into both computers and transfer goes very quickly. When we purchased our Dell we had ordered this to transfer everything we wanted from old PC to new PC. Mrs. Things

If both computers have USB ports, you may look into the USB Flash Drives. They are pretty cheap and easy to setup.
