User Details are only visible to members.	In my book I am using cruisers. Remember that this is science fiction, so the shuttle bay/flight deck is internal as these are spaceships. I figured that across the real navy the codes would all be the same. Uniformity so to enable people to go from one ship to another. Sadly in real life navies, it seems that many ships do not have a full sickbay like in a carrier. Thanks for the help. :-)

User Details are only visible to members.	I have done a lot if the google searching over the last two days... Most areas are pretty straight forward... But the letter desination for sick bay and flight decks aren't listed anywhere. Either they do not have such listings, or they may fall under Q for other or unlisted. But the PDF slang will be useful going forward in other books.

User Details are only visible to members.	howstuffworks has a great article on the aircraft carriers, w/deck terminology. an aircraft carrier has 18 levels... My father was in the Navy as well as my husband, so I know a little bit about the Navy.

My daughter was an electronics technician in the Navy on an aircraft carrier and she was division C-6... Combat Systems... Put more emphasis on divisions and departments. Depending on the type of boat you have characters on, then search that out ... ex: Nimitz-class CVN - Departments & Divisions
