| We are taking our daughters (ages 18 and 21) to New York City for 3 nights the week before Christmas. I am overwhelmed searching for restaurants and was wondering if any one could offer any recommendations? We are staying about 2 blocks from Times Square and have theater tickets (for Wicked and the Radio City Christmas show), so restaurants in that area would be great! This is our first visit to NYC... Price is not an issue. Thank you for any help! :) |

I enjoyed Sardi's while I was there this past fall. Right in the heart of the theatre district so walking distance to most of the shows.

For those who want a place to meet-and-greet, and not worry about looking out of place waiting, Cranberry Deli on West 45 Street is a good place.
Second floor after 4:00pm is almost all empty. No place to sit at lunch tho. Get your beer and food on first floor and head upstairs. Quite and clean including bathrooms. Some tour groups eat there. |

Found another good restaurant right off times square. Bold45 (bright pink sign, you cant miss it) on 45th street.
Big, loud place but the food was great. |

Yes it sounds like a cheesy come on but there really are some amazing Italian restaurants here. Remember, this area was (and is) "mobbed up"
Still the demarcation point between the NY families and Chicago families. Really makes you want to come visi |
