The greatest threat to my personal stability is probably my pre-teen son. Oddly enough, my teenage daughter and I get along VERY well.

What is the nicest thing you have ever bought somebody?

We were cops for Halloween maybe 5 years ago. We met and played with people who, as it turns out, were real cops.

I made a vibrating baton with a dial in the handle to go with it. I still have it. It was great.. I kept buzzing everyone.

nicest thing I ever bought anyone: I found and bough a Star Trek chess set for my younger son's dad

my best Halloween costume? GEEZE! Halloween is my holiday of all holidays! But if I had to pick one, probably the one I fudged up out of a cheap piece of fabric: I went as Princess Leia one year when the boys were Luke and Yoda {they looked ADORABLE! but I got the most compliments on my "quickie" costume}...that or when I sewed baby bottle nipples in two rows down the front of a black body suit over my VERY pregnant belly and was a pregnant cat. And last year I did the same cat, but not pregnant {pic accompanying post}
