Have you guys seen all the hype about Lance Armstrong finally owning up to doping?
Some say he's still a great role model for the fight against cancer despite his tarnished rep. He's also subject to a bunch of lawsuits. What do you think? Much ado about nothing? |

Believe me he was and is not and will not be the only one. Does it make it right? A true athlete is going to do anything to win. Our problem is making heroes of these people. They are fucking human, not super heroes or Gods....give me a break.

As a cyclist I followed him closely (via news/events/standings....on the road....not so close I am sure.) since the beginning.
I am of the opinion that he really was the best rider through those years as I believe everyone behind him was altering their blood as well. However, I am done with Lance. He is the most unforgiving bastard on 2 feet, and now want forgiveness. I can forgive him easily, but I can forget him even faster. I do not care about the doping by one person or team as it was rampant through the entire sport. Additionally, the governing body is as bad as the problem they are trying to extinguish. |
