"How the hell one inch can equal 100 miles is beyond me."
Mrs. VA would just be happy to know how 4 inches can equal 7 inches. |

I'm a girl, I suck at reading maps. How the hell one inch can equal 100 miles is beyond me.
At least the bitch talks to me, whereas reading a map would require me to look away from the road. VA, Trooper loves maps. Its the Army Ranger in him. Give him grid coordinates he is in heaven. |

Yeah, in actuality, the GPS does find 99.9% of the time. Lol @ buying maps. Gotta run now....looking at my swatch watch, it's time for me to feed my pet rock before I head to the arcade. Heard they just got Spy Hunter.

That said, I admit I rather like maps. I like looking at them and studying them before going on a trip. I like to know how the roads and towns play out on the way. I primarily use the GPS to find specific things (such as restaurants) when I'm in an unfamiliar place, or to go around problems, or the "fine points".
The out of date stuff is like when I search for a restaurant, drive to it, and find an empty concrete slab where it used to be. |
