What internet are you using MRHEAT?

Maybe that is the missing link or a mentally challenged link, but it isn't a working link.

Canadian police investigate massive maple syrup theft

Quebec police are on the lookout for thieves with a sweet tooth after a considerable amount of maple syrup disappeared from a large warehouse stocking over $30 million worth of the amber nectar.

Quebec Provincial Sgt. Claude Denis said Friday it was too soon to determine the exact quantity or value of the syrup stolen from the facility where over 10 million pounds (4.54 million kilograms) is stored.

The Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers says they discovered the missing syrup during a routine inventory where empty barrels were found at the site at St-Louis-de-Blandford, Quebec.

Quebec produces 70 to 80 percent of the world's maple syrup.

Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, died Saturday, weeks after heart surgery and days after his 82nd birthday.

Armstrong commanded the Apollo 11 spacecraft that landed on the moon on July 20, 1969, and he radioed back to Earth the historic news of "one giant leap for mankind." He spent nearly three hours walking on the moon with fellow astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin.

BBH (ad firm) actually suggested paying homeless folks to become wireless hotspots and wear logo t-shirts at SXSW in Austin. This story wins in both the bad taste and news of the weird categories.

Online Ass!

A town in northern Israel has attached wireless routers to donkeys which carry tourists along their journey in the ancient Galilee town of Hashaya.

The Kfar Kedem recreational attraction in Hashaya features a tour to simulate life in ancient Galilee, using donkeys to allow people to travel the historical landscape. The manager of Kfar Kedem, Menachem Goldberg made the decision to use wireless routers to give people access to e-mail and Facebook, to share their experiences on the web.

“We have 30 donkeys in our town and we have fitted five with wireless Internet. We will consider whether to equip more as time goes on,” Goldberg told Israel Hayom.
