In music news, 64-year old Gregg Allman is getting married, for the seventh time. He met his 24-year old fiancé only in January of this year, on Friday the 13th. Sounds like a keeper.

The Cure- Just Like Heaven and Katie Melua's cover of it
I rather enjoy the Cure, especially this song; J is not a fan. When he played Katie Melua's version for me we had an instant winner. It sounds like a totally different song from the original but I love it so much. |

My slightly crazy friend, the one with the 20 ft scaffolding I have been on most of the week, has a house that is an absolute disaster. D-fucking-saster. I am trying to help him make it into a home again and having a bit of success, I might add. Anyways.......one of the things he will spend money on is his sound system, which is worth about 25 - 30 grand; it is amazing, although I am sure that the piles of dust everywhere do distort the sound somewhat. I have been listening to great music all week, and this was one of my favs.......I am so old school....
