I cringe when I don't top off my tank before I cross the imaginary line that divides the US from Canada... What should only cost >$60 for a fill up, usually takes nearly $80. That's a lot of two-nies, eh!

An Imperial Gallon is bigger, yes, but Canada hasn't used gallons in decades, and when they do, they usually use US gallons now. Gas is sold by the liter.

$3.49 in VA. I just about did a happy dance when I saw gas at less than $3.75
Tomorrow on the ride home it'll be closer to $4 again when I hit NY, and nearly $5 when I cross the border. |
