Key West is awesome. Some of our older pics (like this one) were taken there.

The zoysia is an outstanding turf grass, deep green, requires almost no weed control, and grows so densely the mower tends to ride up onto it rather than cut it.

The downside is that it turns brown and hibernates during the winter. We're kind of at the northern limit of where it can be grown without spending most of the year brown.

Glorious, simply glorious.

Our landscape is coming back to life. No clue what type of grass we have, i just know that its lush, thick, and golf like. Even the peonies are starting to emerge, eight along side the daffies, tullips and orchids.

71 today. 84 tomorrow.

The zoysia and bermuda grass haven't yet woken up, so the green fescue is dominating. Shouldn't be long until the zoysia and bermuda dominate the yard.

I *heart* zoysia.
