@tbr. De Anza Springs can be "brutal" in the spring as well. It's a nice place. I had a good time. I can handle 110 degrees with ease. If it gets below 60 I'm freezing and miserable.

De Anza Springs.

I know it well.

We were members when we lived down there.

That area can be brutal in the summer. 110 is not inusual.

4AM. 57 degrees. Dang dogs woke me up again because of the coyotes prowling around the house. Supposed to be in the mid 80s all week. Have to work on my tan. :-)))

@GG and tbr. I flew to CA last March to visit LTR friends. They live South of San Diego on a nudist resort up in the mountains about 4 miles North of the Mexican boarder. SD was nice but it was miserable up in the mountains and all I packed was shorts and T-Shirts. It never got above 55 degrees and the wind was howling at 30 to 45 MPH the whole time. Thank goodness they had an indoor heated pool there.

@ NiceGuy. Check your email.

Guess I should have read your profile for my answer.

Welcome to San Diego. It is a paradise. I lived there for 40 years before having to move to the hell that is Orange County.

Enjoy...
