Peg, This summer has been a summer like we haven't had in decades. I don't think we've had any day with the temp above 90. We have had very little rain and when we did it was during the week. We've only had 1 weekend where it was cloudy and briefly rained. The tourists have flocked to the Jersey shore for their vacations and have spent alot of money. As far as the upcoming winter, I'm sure we can handle what ever we get.

I'm one who can't stand the hot and humid weather and you'll never find me in Florida and the south in the months of June, July and August. But give me days like San Diego I'd be very happy. Most people don't know this but the best time to be at the Jersey shore is Sept. and Oct.
