Well then, VA, you will be happy to hear they sell pieces, at garage sales, here.

"I bought a piece from a lady and all I did was stick it in....."

The post got less interesting after that.

G,

I bought a piece from a lady and all I did was stick it in the ground and water it.

Gina,

I'm personally going to walk over to Texas, and kick your ass ;).

1- I gave you instructions (remember I gave you a link in one of the gardening threads)

2- That lei around your neck is not a plumeria, those are Dendrobium flowers, Dendrobiums are orchids :).

I have two plumeria that I need to plant, will welcome any tips. I love love them. I'm a calla lily fan and have a twin one tattooed on my thigh. Lots of meaning. Here's a pic of my plumeria lei from this past June in Hawaii.

Bayou....that is so cool!!!! If you ever get back down this way, I'd love to send you home with a plumeria for Pandora! Sed.....didn't even realize plumerias had that nickname! It just seemed like a natural transition to him since both are tropical in nature. Our flowers at our wedding were orchids, which we paid an arm & leg for!!! Then, we went to Hawaii on our honeymoon & orchids were floating in our drinks!

Plumeria is a lovely plant, but it's not an orchid, even though it's *nickname* is Hawaiian ginger orchid, it is not an orchid. I no longer have so many orchids, I gave away hundreds of them, sold others. But my obsession is brewing again, after last week's orchid show ;).

@Naughty...Plumeria is Pandora's favourite flower. She's got them tattoo'd on her calf.

Her engagement ring is a solitaire set in a white gold plumeria flower. :)

Thanks Sed. I'm not a watch nut at all, I just love giving myself these mini-quests to find rare and elusive trinkets. It helps keep my mind off of the fact that I'm not home.

If this watch works out, I'll need a new quest.
