I hear ya. I lived 29 Canadian winters. I never want to endure another. I've tried explaining the Escarpment to people as basically really really long one-sided mountain, but I think they don't really get it. Fun fact: Some of the oldest trees in the world are on the side of it. Knee-high trees that are 400 years old. Large ones are pushing 2,000 years old. |

HT- the snow through Indiana and St. Louis means Trooper will not be driving out today, one more day with my man at home, and means he will only be gone two nights this week.

Finally returned to the USA after spending a week in Canada. Tuesday night in Toronto, I went out with a vanilla friend and ended up going back to her place for some more fun. Then I went to Kingston for a few days for work.
On Friday, I drove back to Toronto to spend the entire weekend with the previously mentioned friend. With the exception of going out twice for meals and a couple of times for drinks on Friday and Saturday night, we spent the entire weekend in her bedroom. I lost count of how many times we did it. I'm exhausted! |

How long have you been in the GTA? Would this have been your first spring there, or have you been there a couple of years?
If so, it's a little too bad you'll be missing May in the Niagara Region. The weather, flowers and cherry blossoms are stunning in mid-May. Plus Victoria Day fireworks. |

Thanks for the welcome back guys. Its been a whirlwind couple of weeks. I hadn't realized how exhausted I was till Pandora and I went to Memphis last weekend and I passed out at 7pm and didn't wake up again until 7 the next morning (Sorry SB! I'll make it up to you next time!)...
I've got 3 more weeks of go-go-go (Chicago this week, Owensboro Kentucky next, and a small project close to home) left to finish up and then I'm done until the second week of May. 4 day road trip at the end of April with the little lady with stops in St. Louis, Denver, Las Vegas, and Anaheim. Yeah...we're going to Disneyland. :) |
