You'd be amazed to find out that we ride hundreds of miles on Brooks Saddles... which are pieces of hardened leather stretched over a metal frame. Seriously.

I've never owned a big squishy gel seat, but imagine you're right. The bike I have is pretty old. Still functional, but I'm interested in upgrading so that longer rides would be more comfortable. Looks like I should go shopping soon!

The right bike makes a huge difference. Also, the big squishy gel seat people use is a huge mistake.

I'm seriously considering taking part in a 25-mile ride for my favorite charity this summer. I've never ridden that far, but am pretty sure I could do it and still be able to walk. ;-)

HT #1:
Got in a 30 mile bike ride today, HT #2: and tomorrow we'll do another 60. I want a 6-pack by my 40th birthday. I've wanted a 6-pack by lots of other milestones, so who knows if this one will work out. |
