User Details are only visible to members.	When we lived at the lake in SC there were semi stray cats everywhere. One of them was well fed and sweet as could be and we used to let her in and feed and play with her. The rest were rather wild and we did feed them on the dock now and then but they weren't friendly, very scared. Well in a matter of weeks the female appeared to be pregnant (no surprise) and decided to birth her litter on our front screened porch . Of the 7 she has 3 died immediately. The other 3 by 2 weeks were sick with respiratory and eye infections. I took the runt to the vet and she gave me meds for the other 3 and worm meds for all of them. The runt was ignored by his mommy as being too his( and he was) but I bottle fed him and nursed them all to full health. We kept 2 of them and the other 2 went to a wonderful home together. When we moved I could not take the mommy, she was used to being outside, seemed to love the lake and I know she "belonged" to a neighbor on the several blocks over. One day they were selling cookies for a school function and she came over saw the mommy and said oh thats my kitty . I said really? she had kittens and she responded she had no idea she was pregnant ( asshole) . I really wanted mommy too but knew she'd never live happily inside and at the time we had no idea on what type of place we'd wind up renting and so we just took the kittens. It broke my heart but she was safe at the lake, so far away from traffic etc and she really wasn't mine to take. The kittens? hell would have froze over before I let that women take them from me after all I had done to safe their lives. Mrs Sav

All of our 4 legged pets are fixed ( the silky will go next month ) I cant see how someone can let a dog run loose. Not only can they get hit by a vehicle , they can get into and eat something poisonous. That is sad :(
