Actually the use of old platforms in legacy systems is still widespread. AS/400 remains a major workhorse in spite of being 30 years old. Old COBOL programming is pervasive in federal systems. They have to keep dragging old programmers out of retirement to service them.

Even in my childhood 8 inch floppies were only in use in legacy systems. It must cost a lot to maintain them and supply them with parts. Who the hell is still manufacturing 8 inch floppies and drive parts?

for all y'all omnivores, s'ghetti and meatballs could be good.

for vegetarians and vegans, there's such a thing as meatless meatballs and they are pretty fab on s'ghetti with a nice hearty marinara.
