They switched me to the new job they have been talking about for nine months. A month in, I have everything set up so it takes.me about 8 hours a week to do what they want. But they are focused on people being in the office, no matter what. So here I sit, trying to write a paper on a tablet. Much harder than it sounds...

Must they all be such useless twits? are there no technical support professionals that actually can complete a ticket without bouncing it to someone else. Was on the phone with India which is where tech support for my company is, for over an hour last night. Finally, they assigned my log in token, to only realize that I need to be mapped to the shared drives. They finally mapped the drives. Logged in this morning, only to realize that I am not seeing my shared drives, not able to save or retrieve anything to or from the shared drive. This is lunacy!

After an initial phone call to the bank this morning to let them know of the fraudulent charges, I had a two plus hour run around on the phone to get to the right department, because no one knew what the fuck they were doing. I needed to make one last transaction out of this account via the card, before closing out the card, in order to get gasoline for my car; I was just above fumes. I get to a convenience store to use the ATM in order to withdraw money, to go to the gas station next door and get gas. ATM says it can not complete transaction. I spend an hour and a half in my car on my cell trying to get the right department of the bank... All perfect English speaking people and they all were dumber than a bag of bricks! I said fuck it and came home, looked up some different numbers and was able to get to the fraud department. Finally, I was able to speak to someone that had a fucking brain and he was able to look at my account. There were four usage attempts and two were approved, two were denied. All four attempts were in three different states. It figures though that the most expensive transactions were approved and the cheaper ones were denied... Where's the fucking logic in that! After getting done with the fraud department, I call the bank back and I speak with a branch manager. The branch manager gets all the information from me and has to do some digging. He calls me back after an hour and says that the card is back active again and I can do as I need to. I go take all off the money I can out of the account and put it in another account and also filled my gas tank. I called the bank back and get the branch manager's voicemail. I leave a message to kill the card. I'll call back tomorrow. BTW, yes, my birthday yesterday was marred by this!
