Waited for patient to arrive from MD office for almost 5 hrs, and his office is almost across the street! Late presenter to care, surgery consult, needs urgent surgery...tonight... SONO shows {SURPRISE!!!!} twins, on top of everything else.....OH! and did I mention she's deaf and Spanish-only? Just eff me gently with a chainsaw, why don't ya?!? {as a gf of mine used to always say} And, ,quite frankly, her story was TWICE as interesting as I'm allowed to say. I was almost afraid to find out more!

User Details are only visible to members.	I wish I couldn't relate to that... A customer hadn't paid me for years. I was too nice. Finally I turned it over to an attorney about a month before the SOL ran out for filing a lawsuit. Funny how when they got a letter from an attorney how fast they acted. We reached an agreement- I ate the intererest and attorney's fees just to get them to sign the confession of judgement. They were supposed to pay about 25% upon signing, and the balance within XXdays. Well, on XX-1 days, they send a little more $$ along with a letter explaining they need more time to come up with the rest. I agreed, but interest will now be paid because what good does it do to have their bank account siezed when there's nothing in them? Try and explain that part of a business to the resident know-it-all-about-evil-businesses. Profits don't guarantee cash, and cash pays the bills. "25 lighters on my dressa dressa, Yessa I gotsta get paid " Yeah, I know that song is about crack..

Beside owing our company over $150k in outstanding invoices, they also owed various state governments significant sums. They got impatient, won a court order, raided their bank accounts and the company has collapsed. They don't have 5 cents to pay our debt now. Thankfully this is not our business anymore, per se, but it will still impact us enormously. Time to call a lawyer....

My Bitch, Is taking a Large deposit yesterday morning for a good sized job, I was assured I could deposit and secure my permits.... only to recive a call from the client last night asking me to now hold the check Since they claim they may not have approval from the board in the developement...... So I explained to him that I had deposited the check and that I had submitted the permit applications, So He suggested I go to my bank and retrieve the check, or Just write him a check refunding the total amount. Normally when such happens I just send the balance less any fee's I incurred for permits etc. After the funds clear my bank. He wants the total remitted today, Which I couldn't even if I wanted too since there is a hold on checks this size for up to 7 business days, I explained to him that he will have to wait until the check clears my bank for his refund, And that per our agreement he is responsible for the fee's , since he broke the contract, I am not looking to enforce the whole term.... So Now I get a call he is going to put a Stop payment on The check, Fine Except now my bank says I will be assessed a 35.00 fee for the returned check, plus the 250.00 out in Permit fee's. not including time I had drawing up plans , and scheduling..... I guess I should be happy he called me in the first place.....
