Mrs Sav, we are involved with something similar here with a friend and co worker of my husband's. Agh. It's so emotionally roller coaster-ish for his family and friends.

FB: freaking modem burned out on me....mid-e-mail. Thought it was just the power cable again and ran to Radio Shack to get a replacement. Nope! Nada. Zilch. Had to return the power cable, they didn't have a compatible modem, so I had to go further up the road to Best Buys. They had one....but not at that store. 5 more minutes up the road, got one, got home in time to pick up my son from school. Just got the computer hooked back up, now have to reprogram all the wireless devices to the new router. Two down, 2 or 3 to go {depends on if I have second-thoughts about connecting my son's kindle or not}
