According to “Dressing for Success”, a required text for executives in many Fortune 500 companies to read, a person has only one opportunity to make a first impression. Miss that opportunity and your entire presentation has been compromised.
I enjoy people watching and I am surprised at how little preparation many people do before they come into a club. I am also amazed at the number of play dates who arrive with only some preparation in their grooming and overall appearance. Don’t they care about how they are being perceived or am I being overly critical? What have you experienced? |

Show up with your clothes on - yes. Whether to keep them on, well that is for your playdate(s) and you of course to decide. Whatever you decide, just have fun doing it.

Sexycple: I agree with you entirely. I think my play partner deserves the best as well. I find dressing up for a play date also adds to my excitement. As I am grooming myself and dressing up, I can’t help but think how she will be dressed when we meet. Anticipation can be such a positive experience.

Like......that particular place is located on Napoleon, right off St. Charles Ave. & the streetcar line. It's uptown, not in the Quarter. Fun does live within driving distance from what I've been told. :)

The intimacy, connection and frisson we feel for each other as we prepare for an event or date is an incredible thing. Little glances...knowing, wordless exchanges...and warm smiles set a unique and special tone for our little forays. We care about our grooming and attire, as we feel our play partners deserve our very best. We tend to click with those who feel the same way. And, at the very least, we know at the end of the night we'll be going home to...us...

Keep us informed about NOLA. We will not go during Mardis Gras though. Or Spring Break. We actually want to be able to walk around.
Been to Lafayette cemetery and Anne Rice's house in 2001. Also to the Myrtles and loved that place. Definitely worth a small side trip. Mr hasn't been since he was 18 or 19 so he is WAY due for a trip. And as for what we'll wear? Hmm. G. |

On the original topic -- I love wearing pretty panties & bra. I see my main FWB so often that I no longer "dress up" when we meet since we spend a good portion of our time just hanging out in the family room, talking, watching tv, etc. But I enjoy knowing beneath my yoga pants & nice t-shirt are lace panties and a sexy bra.
