We too have had this experience happen, but figure that it is a couple who just can't go through with even just meeting for a drink thinking that they may be persuaded into something they are not ready for. On the other had, we have the couples that right once or so a week (after about 8 months), stating that they cannot wait to meet. Like it or not, there are more and more fakes joining these sites, just have to sort through them. People who are sincere about meeting others, will do so.

Perhaps your profile is a little misleading! You claim to have enjoyed"fullswing" w/ previous spouses, but list yourselves as a softswing cpl now.(together)Yet your photos clearly show your male half, having intercourse w/ another woman !Sends up a "red"flag here!

I'm curious - are these disappearing couples newbies or experienced swingers? They sound like couples who are titillated by the idea of swinging, but who don't have the courage to move forward with it.

I think there are folks out there that will just "get into" the anticipation element of this lifestyle. Almost the analogy of "the hunt is more exciting than the kill." Not sure if that is the case in your example, but if you have had phone conversations with all prospective participants (say that 10 times fast without a rain coat on!), I would doubt it would be the dreaded "fake" couple scenario. Not much you can do but continue to sort through the chaff to get to the wheat.
