I advised him to be patient, be real, be polite, and to read all the forums on singles. Hopefully there will be one less of the bad ones out there!

Nofun is a PERFECT example of good behavior. I read your profile and while as I don't agree with what you're doing, it's straighforward and none of my business. My business is the obnoxious men, and there's been at least one a day since we opened our profile to single men, who e-mail or IM without reading our profile and immediately start off with something crude. Actually, as a "single" guy (I understand that I am a bit of a pariah here, but bear with me) I wouldn't be opposed to being only able to send emails/IMs after I've received one, regardless of being a paid member or not. I don't even bother sending messages out, but answer all I receive, and have made some very fun friends. Maybe they could also make reading of the forums regarding the single male mandatory before their accounts are activated? By the time the losers got a quarter of the way through, they'd probably bail anyway. It's damn hard to teach good manners, but I read the single guy forums before I ever met anyone and found them EXTREMELY helpful.
