MARDI GRAS MAMBO #5

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Mardi Gras Mambo Number Five!

One, two, three, four, five, everybody's on the float, So come on let's ride. Down St. Charles and round the corner, Up Canal where they get loose, but I really just wanna Hear crowds like I did last week. I must throw deep, Grandstands ain't cheap. I like cotton candy, candy apples, senoritas, And a kingcake, you know there is nothing sweeter. So throw me something mister, I beg you my boy. Mardi Gras is full of fun and joy, where anything flies, It's all free New Orleans, let's hear Al Hirt's trumpet.

(Refrain) A little bit of Mardi Gras in my life A little bit of Carnival oh my my A little bit of Rex is all I need A little bit of Toth is what I see A little bit of Orpheus in the sun A little bit of Bacchus all night long A little bit of Endymion here I am A little bit of Zulu makes me a fan. Mardi Gras Mambo #5!

Jump up and down and move your hands all around, Shake your head to the sound, Stomp your feet on the ground, Take one step left and one step right, One to the front and one to the side. Clap your hands once and clap your hands twice, And if you see some sites then your doing it right.

(Refrain)

Mardi Gras Mambo #5

(Refrain)

I like long beads, cups, doubloons, and trinkets too, When you see Pete Fountain walk, You'll love the City that Care Forgot…

" In a Rolling Stone article, additional information was added saying that Seger had 20-30 dates already booked and was expected to tour again in the Fall. In other news, the same article noted that Seger had been recording non-stop since the end of the Face the Promise tour and that a new album was currently in the works, and Seger was satisfied with over half of it already. It was also stated that Seger would be sampling a few songs from the forthcoming record during the first leg of the tour in hopes of having the album released shortly before, during, or after the tour, hinting at a Summer 2011 release. On March 2, 2011, Seger released the first single from his forthcoming album, Downtown Train, a Tom Waits cover." I saw him in Chicago late 70s early 80s. One of the best concerts I ever attended. However it did not cost me and arm and a leg or my first born. LOL. Maybe $20 at most. I did hear he was writing new music, so maybe you will get to hear some as it has been my experience that at concerts many times the artist will preview one or two to hype sales.
