AC/DC - Bedlam in Belgium (live from Joe Louis 1983)

The following will be meaningful to AC/DC fans....

Flick of the Switch is widely considered to have been their worst album, although I'd have to disagree and say Fly on the Wall is), although many die hard fans say it's drastically underrated. It's certainly their worst selling from the Brian Johnson era.

So after 30 years of listening to Flick of the Switch I think I finally know why it was such a failure. Other than the song titles you can't understand a goddamn thing Brian Johnson is singing. I've probably heard Guns for Hire 1,000 times and I have no idea what the lyrics are except for the chorus. And the lyrics you can understand are mostly stupid. Case in point "Bedlam in Belgium". What a dumbass song title. You can't have hit songs that people can't sing along to. 35+ years later even kids know the lyrics to You Shook Me All Night Long and Highway to Hell.

But JESUS CHRIST does this song, especially this version, rock the house. Malcolm and Cliff at their very best. The music is fantastic. Methinks.
