We had an SM recently that after both of us speaking to him on the phone; wanted me (female half) to give him phone sex, on the first call!! THAT turned me off so badly, that we did not correspond with him after that. I don't feel that we are responsible for informing SMs why they were dropped. Not our job to "train" people in manners and Finesse.

If they were truly worth knowing after a few communications, then they wouldn't randomly disappear. Now, I've had situations where that unexplained gap in talks was explained (and understood), and we worked out well. But generally I see it as a sign to move on. No hard feelings, just part of the process.

When we first entered this arena, I hate calling it a lifestyle, I wanted to play much more frequently than my husband. So, with his suggestion, I played alone with "quality" sm. This, in turn, enriched our sex lives at home greatly. After being married 20 years, sex had become just good.... not AMAZING as it could be. I was not attempting to replace my husband, or fill a void in our relationship. In fact, my solo play enhanced our marriage in numerous ways....sexually & otherwise. Now, I still have a few sm I see regularly, but we also play regularly as a couple. We've become close friends with other couples, & have even traveled with them. I guess the point I'm trying to get across is that there's definitely a place for sm & sf. I'm not attempting to belittle them nor their place here. I'm just using my own reference of "quality", which is more than just the sexual performance he brings to the bed. There's trust, honesty, & integrity at the top of my list.

As for potential play friends, I only have a few criteria: intelligence, personality, sense of humor, and attractiveness. The more of these traits a person/couple has, the more likely I'll want to keep them as friends as well as fuck buddies. The folks I avoid: high maintenance people with too much drama. Having sex should be fun and I've got no interest in working through all your emotional bullshit.

Mrs. Sav, What were we calling ourselves on the other day on another thread: * hussies, shameless fornicators, prostitutes, oh and I was a "pimpette" since I volunteered to pay for a hotel room. (LOL) My newest term is one that the BF lovingly descibes me as sometimes: 'Well-Adjusted Slut' my reply was, then we are a 'Pair of Well-Adjusted Sluts' I am in this to have fun and make a few friends that I /we can have repeat fun with. If those others want to call us names, let them, they can't come up with anything better or more original than we have already posted to describe ourselves with. Alas, sometimes when I articulate, things don't always come out the way that I originally intend:( Quality was not meant to imply that anybody is a better person, merely qualities that a person has. I suppose it would have been easier to say that the list of qualities I put in my post describe the very people that I have met on here and have been most attracted to. I have met (or chose not to meet) people that exhibited the undesireable traits of which I previously mentioned, and I run, run away. I have been exceedingly fortunate in finding friends with those positive traits that are stimulating, intelligent, attractive and so extremely fuckable, that I am a repeat fucker with SEVERAL of them every chance I/we get:) I do spend more time screening people that I am interested in a continued friendship with after the inital meet/greet. If I am only interested in a one time fuck with somebody that I have great chemistry with -- yep, I will fuck them in a minute and then go home :) SB
