Ok redhot, you'll have to explain to me what makes a beer sexy...

But fine points aside, I have to agree with wholeheartedly with Redhot about trying new beers. I may be many steps behind the experts in terms of knowledge, but share with them the fascination for trying new brews (mostly ales in my case). I have a feeling that we are living the Golden Age of American Beer. Make the most of it! There's nothing wrong with going back to your old favorite, Miller, Coors, or what have you. But don't pass up the chance to try new things too.

Agree with expo and cottage -- Bass Ale and Yuengling Lager are both great.. Yuengling Black and Tan also great. But Guiness Stout (yeah, not technically a beer) is better than chocolate and damn close to sex. The best lite is Corona Lite. They apparently made it dryer from the taste I remember years ago. The Danish Tuborg Green if you can find it is awesome. God -- so many beers, so little time....

Catalyst, you're our kind of guy! lol

J used to brew his own and he was lucky enough to live in a house whose basement was really like a temperature controlled environment. There was one section of his basement that stayed the same temp year round. Here, we can't say that, so he hasn't been doing any brewing since we moved in here two years ago. Irish and English pubs, the real ones not the "tourist pubs" are the way to go if you want to sample the brews! S

Reading these posting comments over the last few days has really got me craving a good beer (2 or 3) and a good, medium-rare cheeseburger!!

"Erie Brewing's Drake's Crude "

Hey Red, thanks for the tip; we'll have to try that one.

Ms. Content and I just came back from some beer and wings, and tried a certain Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. It's a 9.5% abv !!!! It was quite something but I was driving so I just had one (shared with her). We definitely need to get hold of that one! (and yes, we highly recommend it).
