"the one that's cold and in my hand. "
I used to think that way. In fact one of my favorite sayings was, " My favorite beer is Free Beer. My second favorite is Cold Beer. But then I discovered home brewing and micro brews. Hand me a free cold Coors or Bud and I will most likely decline. I'll pay extra for a good pale ale or oatmeal stout anytime. Or dirink tequila instead. |

Brew my own. nothing better.
Just finished a batch of Mooninite wheat (like Blue Moon) with the corriander and orange peel. Fuckin nice, not too heavy like some kits. In Carboy and ready to bottle I have Heelside Pilsner, gonna be a smooth Ale, chose to make it an Ale as opposed to a Lager just because I do not have a dedicated fridge to run a Lager. Next up a tempting little brew called Sun Goddess honey blonde, that my honey suprised me with, can't wait to get my hands on her, either the Goddess in the bottle or the Goddess that got it for me. |

Why do people call Coors, Miller or Bud beer???
It's cheap junk, especially the "lite" versions. There are so many microbreweries in the USA. Most of them brew superb beer, real beer. Widmer in Oregon is very good, that's one of the bigger one, so is Pyramid in the Seattle area. |

My own Homebrew.
But if I have to buy it, then Guinness, Modelo Negra, Sam Adams Irish Red or Cream Porter depending on my mood. At a micro-brewery a nice Oatmeal Stout hits the spot. I don't waste my time on Buttsweiser, Coors Pisser Bullet, or Miller Low Life. "Life is too short to drink bad beer". |

There is also a dark beer I had in New Orleans a few years back called Ambita. I has an Aligator on the label. It's pretty good but I cant seem to find it here!
