Right now I have Troegs Nugget Nectar, and Left Hand Milk Stout on tap. I also just tried Lagunita's A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' which was really good.

My wifes been drinking a lot of Unibroue beers recently. They are a little over carbonated for me.

though Victory is East Coast they also have some amazing offerings. Sunday i had a cask Hop Devil and it was out of this world.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale....still the all time favorite!!

Bravo Ezeerider, you could not have said it any better. I definitely share your disgust about lite beers with you. I would like to point out one more thing about these so called "lite" beers (I call them "un" beers). In the ads for Miller, Bud, Coors and the other garbage they always present these miserable brews "ICECOLD". Yeah, so you don't taste anything at all.
I lived in the Pacific Northwest for many years and up there even a small restaurant has a couple of good microbrews on tap. Sitting at Anthony's at Shilshole Bay and having some oysters and washing them down with a Redhook IPA, that's living.

I have a T-shirt from Stone Brewery in San Diego that sums it up nicely: "Fizzy yellow beer is for wussies." As a freely-confessed Pacific Northwest beer snob (and you know it doesn't get any finer; best water, best hops, finest grains) and as a home-brewer of some years experience, I maintain that lite "beers" have no place in any serious discussion of beer, and American lagers always look (and taste) like someone beat you to them...and left you with only the by-product. Now I know that may be too subtle for many, but if you've ever brewed beer, you know that the mass produced swill tastes absolutely nothing like real beer. When I'm looking for a good pub, my benchmark is, generally speaking, some great IPAs from the Pacific Northwest, with big, booming hops over a great malt, leaving an aromatic finish dancing across the tongue. Just the right grains, perfect malt pairing, and those incredible Pacific Northwest hop varities, like Cascade, Columbia, Zeus, et al, and then some Irish porters like Guiness or Murphy's. Even here though, the Pacific Northwest can hold its own with something like a Deschutes Black Butte porter. And for those with the heart and soul for it, there's nothing in the world like an Alaskan Smoked Porter. Try it with a runnin'-down-both-elbows burger and sweet potato fries with a chipotle/ranch dip. Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Lite beer should be served with little pink umbrellas in it.

Im cheap...Bud Light or Michelob Ultra Light...but I got tired of that...so I went to Bev Mo and asked the cat what a good light beer was...he directed me towards TYSKIE....its a Polish Pilsner...good stuff!
