TOPIC: Timing that Levitra or viagra dosage!!

| The dosage instructions for viagra or levitra say that not more than one a day (which I define as 24 hours) should be taken. So -- assuming I am attending a house party, I guess I would pop one an hour or so before the fun. Now -- since both viagra and levitra say that they max out in about 4 hours or so --- and -- the best play is often in the morning, what do I do then? The guys on cialis apparently dont have this prob, but they don't prescribe that for everyone. |

Every morning I take together with my antioxidant cocktail a product called "Male Libido", which is merely a combination of the traditional herbs that support a man's erection-(e.g., tribulus, yohimbe, maca root, horny goat weed, etc.) That, together with proper diet and execise, keeps my erections healthy.

I've been taking vitamin V for four years now. 25 mg is a reasonable dose for me. That means that I get the doctor to perscribe 100 mg tablets, then break them into *four* parts - that's 16 times a month. (By the way, I got that advice from my physician; he's as frustrated with the HMOs as you are!)
Viagra works for me for about twelve to sixteen hours, not the four they advertise, so usually I'm ready to go in the morning. Also, if you get caught off-guard and want it to start working faster, don't swallow it, simply let it dissove on your tongue. Then I'm ready in about ten minutes. (Yes, it's not the most pleasant taste, but, hey!) |

Hubbies brother takes viagara, and only gets 4 pills a month, which isn't very many! LOL
His wife told me that he breaks them in half, and half a pill usually lasts for a few hours. If the urge is still there, he takes the other half, and has a few more hours. If not, he saves it for next time. Sounds logical to me...... I dunno. You could try that, (maybe experiment with the wife, and see how it works, before the party)you still get the dose you're supposed to get, and the in laws say it works for them! Thanks WoodsCPL, but my dr. says Cialis is a no-no for me (and lots of other guys who are also taking certain types of prescription meds). Assuming I am stuck with viagra or levitra, what then?
