hi all, there is a product called Tend Skin, it comes in a blue bottle, about $16- 22.00 for about 8 oz. Some spa's that do waxing may sell it, but it is sold on the internet and in beauty supply places and supermarkets.
You apply before and after shaving, works great. Hope this helps

I used to shave but it was such a pain to keep all smooth. Add to the fact that my wife at the time also shaved and if either of us went more than a day or so it freakin HURT!! now I just trim real close with a beard trimmer. I do still shave my balls though...well I will start again now that the piercing is healed ;)

Think the biggest reason for shave bumps.. is using the cheaper razors.. also if you can get a nice smooth pass on first try it helps also..I prefer conditionor over anything else.. leaves it smother IMHO.. but other then that.. it takes time.. if you touch it up every day.. it also helps..

2Doggs-

It took me about a year of shaving consistently to stop getting shave bumps, odd discoloratons, etc. Just keep shaving every day and you will develop the appearance that you and your friends want. In the interim, always use a sharp triple edge razor and one of the many shave moisturizers on the market.

They do make some good gels for the "bikini area," so look near the women's shaving cream for that, or near the women's razors. good luck!
