I am just coming into it. I don't get them related to "that time of the month" and never have, and I don't see any with menopause. My moods were pretty stable during pregancy and all that, too. I'm not saying I'm always happy or nice, just that I don't seem to have big mood swings with hormones. I just want men to know, not every woman becomes intolerable and crabby during menopause. And the bonus is, I used to be FREEZING cold all the time with too many blankets on the bed, and the house too hot for his liking, and now we are at the same temp. level for covers and such. That's convenient. The thing that gets me feeling miserable is not enough sleep. So I try to be responsible about getting enough of it. Sometimes that means no Nighty-Night nookie, but there's always 3AM or right after the morning alarm to sneak in some lovin'.

She is those those thing ELC and then some. I remember her streaking out the back of her house in January to cool off (nekkid)..

I can't waite til winter is here and we make that trip to colorado to visit that sexy duo 8-)

Mikess :-) Hang in there... this too will pass LOL The emotional and physical changers during Pre- and Menopause ( which can last several years 5 or more) jvary per woman, but most women have difficult moments/minutes or so, and just when we think that we are going to go insane or that we are going to faint from the Hot flashes... the symptons will fade and we become ourselves, again. I think it helps if the guy smiles and keeps a positive attitude,> Perhaps, if he took the time to read about these physical and emotional changes that occur during Midlife . It would help him cope. We truly yearn for more more hugs, kisses and reassurance of his love. We feel less attractive and old LOL Ooh and just to make you feel better ... I have read that guys go through this too, but usually (if a couple is about the same age) the man will experience it a few years after the woman. So you can get us back! Lalala Lala

Have any women had a problem with painful intercourse due to menopause.My wife complains of this and I actually think she feels tighter than she use to.

Ok, I never venture in here, but saw this magnificant topic and I will gladly jump in. Normal menopause differs from woman to woman. It can last 5 to 10 years, if it has not been altered by surgery. I began the perimenopausal symptoms at 37, and is slowly starting to progress into menopause now. My biggest problem is definitely the mood swings, depression and sadness. The hot flashes and night sweats are heaven compared to the mood swingers. There are drugs of course that can help, but I look at life as a challenge and refuse the drugs until the day the lock me in the padded room. I can sympathize with the wife, and will say that Simbax advice is priceless. Always make her the top priority, as she should be. Jan

speaking of menopause i tried to make a nice dinner out of leftovers from T-Day and i did everything wrong from the size pan to the level of heat.

right now i dont give a RATS ass if i go to bed hungry as long as my sweetie isnt mad at me.
