Thanks again for the consolation, Mrs. Sav. The simple matter is that good teams manage to score points and always find a way to win the game. I may be a big Michigan fan and will always stand by my team, but Alabama clearly was the better team on that Arlington field last Saturday and they deserved to win. Having watched Alabama play Saturday, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alabama playing in the national championship game this January.

I agree with that sentiment entirely on the difference between pride and arrogance. I always hope for the best, but never treat any opponent without due respect.

I agree , there is no shame. They picked up their game in the second half and played hard until the game was over. Some days you win, some days you lose. I'm not a fanatical fan and truly NEVER expect Bama to win, although I am happy when they do. Each game brings different dynamics and ya just never know how it will go. Bama Pride , Not Bama Arrogance. I hope Michigan has a great season . Mrs Sav |

I think Saturday's game is going to be a hell of a game. Alabama will be no push over; their offensive line averages over 300+ #. Michigan clearly will have their work cut out for them.
There may also be something to be said about Michigan's opponents during the last decade. But then Rich Rodriguez and Co. were a flop, and Lloyd Carr's last few years were not very effective. Michigan's present coaching staff is more like Bo's era. Like I said, this is going to be a hell of a game. Go Blue! |
