I agree that it can be very frustrating to be a single man in the swing scene. I as a bi man also get frustrated with the lack of responses. I just don't make it a habit of contacting anyone more than twice. Also when I look in the sent section of my mailbox you can see if they read it or not. If they have read it and have not responded and some time has passed, just move on. Don't waste your time and energy on trying to find out why they didn't respond to you. I know that sometimes you can feel like an outcast and there is a double standard there. Single men can be considered to be trolling while women aren't seen in the same way. If you are constantly contacting the same people trying to get a response out of them, then YOU are being creepy and may be asked to leave the group. Don't waste your time with folks who aren't interested in you. I've only been here a short time and have been passed up several times but, have also been contacted by a few as well. If you want to do something about it, join a group or start one for single guys and the couples that are looking for them. Being a bi man doesn't make it any easier for me as most of the couples I've been interested in seem to have straight males . Anyway, these are just some of my thoughts. Don't let it get to you and if it still does, then maybe this is not the place for you. Being angry and negative will get you no where, I mean who wants to be around that?

I think from time to time, we all get frustrated. However, it doesn't have to be that way. Just change the way you think! ;-)

Scotty, I get frustrated at these folks that think the lifestyle is a free meat market, and whine when they find out it is not. If his anger and frustration shows through in his emails that would explain the lack or return emails.

1) no reply is a no. get over it.

2) if people only want to play with people of their own race that's their preference. if you don't like it... find a new hobby.

I don't agree that single males have a disproportionate amount of frustration. I have been rejected by 4 single men in the last year that I approached politely and in person. One guy was scared shitless of my husband...who waved "hi" while I was talking to him. The other three were very interested until they backed out 1-3 phone calls later with no firm plans yet made. Now, I understand these are vanilla guys, but until I became a married swinger, I had my pick almost every time. We pretty much don't even expect to meet others on here for sex that we haven't yet met in person, like at a house party or event. In our experience it happens very rarely. Meeting large numbers of swingers in person seems to be the only way to have any sort of chance at all at finding compatible people. And yes, it is frustrating. For everyone. Maybe we need some sort of Match*com for swingers LOL

Rod, it helps if you have experience with being both a single male and a couple who plays with single males. First, if they don't answer it's a no. Why would they not answer? We get so many email from single males with three words or a single line. Those aren't real responses to our profile, they are fishing expeditions. Couples have no interest in meeting just any cock on the walk, they want to be aroused, communicated with, they need to know something about you or there is no reason to write back. 90% of men write nothing. The other 10% get replies.

And remember, no reply is a no.

Mine, I would imagine, is a problem in which I'm almost always frustrated. This problem is really rather simple; Getting a reply from the countless messages we, as single men, have to make in order to have ANY chance of making a hook-up and/or connection. It's bad enough to not receive a reply, it is unbelievable frustrating to not receive a reply from those women and/or couples who STATE in their profiles that they either reply to ALL e-mail or make it a point to say that it's inpolite to not answer. As single men, especially if you're writing to free members, you may need to do so several times, as free members can only reply to "X' amount of e-mail daily. That, to a degree, is understandable. For paid members to not reply, (even if it's a 'No' answer) to not reply and have a guy write several times is downright mean. I often wonder how those people would feel if the shoe was on the other foot! Further, since I have the floor, I'd like to make a statement about those who 'Only "Play within their own race." I agree with these people COMPLETELY. I all about sharing sex with members of the HUMAN RACE! What really gets me is that some of these race purists have undoubtedly practiced some kind of animal sex, as their kinkiness dictates! Ultimately it's those special peoples' rights to do as they please. But it seems, to me, to be unusual at the least and pure stupidity at most to entertain these kinds of mentalities. Now I've said all I have to say. It's a pity that I can't say: 'I hope this doesn't have a negative effect of any possible hook-ups, but I hardly see how that could possibly happen as I can get one or two frigging replies to anywhere between 15-30 messages, maybe more.
