Ah the joys of a forum run by Americans for Americans.
When will you guys learn football is a sport played with a round ball, 11 players on each side. Only America could invent a sport nobody else plays (well to any degree) and then wonder why the other 95% of the world really could not give a f**k who wins the Superbowl, or the Orangebowl or anything else. Try and get this. Football= round ball, massive money skilled players woldwide audiance. American Football= Funny shape ball, big fat Americans on Steroids no skill, some money small audience. PS. I can't stand either version, give me a rugby match |

I am not a Giants fan, but they looked good last night. Eli has developed into one of the better QBs in the league. My team, the Steelers, looked better last week than week 1, hoping that trend continues against the lowly Raiders this week.

Sorry for your loss FF. Eli didn't have much to do with Newton having a bad game. The Giants DLine did and the Giants OLine was terffic. Even though we were banged up on defends and offence they got the job done.
Now, we have 10 days to rest and get healthy when we go to beat that Philly team with another QB that doesn't know how to stay in the pocket. I loved the way Carolina focused of Cruz and Eli just went in a different direction. WOW! We even found a running game these last 2 weeks. I'm enjoying this season and I never bet against the Giants. Better Luck next week and have a Great Day. |

I'm not to excited that my football picks jinx is broken with that win last night. The Giants won but then again the Panthers look like the old Detroit Lions.....lol.....baby blue jerseys and all. Poor Cam got drafted by a crappy team and coach. The city is pretty fun tho.

Tenn needs to re-write that nauseous Rocky Top song they sing incessantly. Rocky Bottom would be more appropriate, 'cause Tenn sure did roll over and offer up its ass for the Gators to ream; 24 unanswered points by the Gators to finish the game. The Vols and their fans quit at halftime; no heart. |
