Yeah, me too. Living in Youngstown (which is half way between Pittsburgh and Cleveland) there are a LOT of Steeler fans here. Many who became so when they started winning. I would rather be a true fan of a team than jump on the bandwagon of a team just because they are winning.

I was listening to WKNR and Negative Ned was going through a list of star players that the Browns passed on during past drafts. He also listed the players we took instead. No team is going to hit on every pick but, the Browns have demonstrated repeated incompetence in the draft. Hence, this is where we are. I'll still be watching. As my Dad would say, "I'm a glutton for punishment."

If he is 76, he saw the Browns win 4 consecutive AAFL Championships in the late 40s and what, four NFL Titles in the 50s and 60s? The Indians won it all in 1948.
At least he has those memories, all I have are "The Drive", "The Fumble" and two World Series losses in '95 & '97. Oh and "The Shot" from Michael Jordan against the Cavs. Oh well, at least I don't take credit when "my" team wins and pretend I had something to do with it. lol |

I would love for my father to see a Cleveland team finally win a title. He is 76 yrs. old. There isn't much time for many more 5 year plans.
Oh wait. I forgot about the Cleveland Crunch. lol |
