We have been in the LS for just a few years now and I have noticed a trend. Outdated profiles. We have met some great people and had some very good times but it is very frustrating to read a profile and see pictures of people and then find out after you arrange to meet them that they have not updated their photos in 2 years or that they are 8 years older and 30 pounds heavier than they claim. I'm not a shallow person and I'm not judging based on weight or age, but I am judging on honesty. We update our profile about every month or so. We make a point to represent ourselves in a truthful fashion. I know that some people don't update because the are afraid of being blocked for using "outside" or "unapproved" contact information. We got blocked for mentioning another messaging system. But these rules are in place for a reason. What is the reason for not being accurate or truthful on your profile? To find playmates? Trust me. Meeting someone in person who is not represented accurately on their profile is a bigger turn off than someone who has a few years and a few extra pounds on them and is honest about it.
