So here is the deal, We have been with two couples so far and my wife has not been able to enjoy herself. Couple one: They are a great couple but we were not attracted to either of them but they were cool enough and we had such a great time together talking that we decided to play. My wife did not enjoy the oral that either of them provided nor did i when the pleasure was provided to me. So we decided to play with each other and climax then went home. Couple two: They were another couple that had the same values and thoughts as we do, so we went out for drinks chatted it up also we all got along great so we decided to go back to thier house and have a few more drinks and talk some more. I asked the other female if she was ok with me and she said yes so we started to play. I looked over and noticed my wife was having trouble with the other partner keeping an erection with the condom on so i decided to help him out and told him to jack off a bit and replace the condom with a new one and to put it on while he is hard. He also said that he was also nervous because the last time they played he had no problem keeping it hard. He also mentioned that he has not used a condom since he and his wife have sex without it. The only difference is that we often go separate ways (sometimes separate rooms, or separate spaces in some large room) and Ms. Content won't get distracted by looking at me with the wife of the guy she is with. So if things are not working too well on her end she won't get too frustrated, but later when we "compare notes" if often turns out I had a great time and for her it was so-so. So you may be wondering, in that case, how come we are still swinging? The answer is that this is not an all-or-nothing proposition. Normally I get more mileage out of swinging, so I let her decide how often to swing. She decides when we should do anything swinging related, and when we should keep our fun at the vanilla level. In that sense, she is in control, and that helps her avoid a sense of frustration. What she does is to make sure, before we decide to have sex with the other couple, that she likes the guy, and that she will enjoy his company in a non-sexual way too. She accepts the fact that she may not get as much sexual fun as I do, but we always try to engage the other couple in a way to ensure that we get some kind of enjoyment from their company, even if it's not specifically sexual. So basically by lowering her sexual expectations she avoids feeling disappointed afterwards, and when the sex is great--as sometimes happens--then she feels like she got a bonus! (and when we meet a couple where the guy "functions well" we try pretty aggressively to date that couple again! lol).

Needless to say that didn't go over very well, but tact and diplomacy prevailed and we managed to end the situation quickly, get dressed and leave. It did cast a pall on things for a bit but we've chalked it up as part of our learning process.

At this point in your adventure, it's natural to feel more anxiety and a little bit fearful, but those things will go away, I promise. We have NEVER had an experience where either half of a couple suggested meeting just one of us separately or surreptitiously on the side. I think if you just make it clear at your first meeting that you only play TOGETHER and as a COUPLE, that issue won't even come up. The other side of the coin has to do with how much you and your husband trust each other. Since you are brand new to swinging, you really don't have the experience to KNOW for sure that you can completely trust each other not to try to meet someone on the side behind each other's backs. But that is exceptionally rare among swingers, almost but not quite to the point of being nonexistent. Just openly discuss your concern with your husband so he clearly understands your discomfort, and this whole thing will become a non-issue for you in no time at all. Jim
