Don't let it bother you, just move on. Sometimes people just aren't ready to take the leap and don't know how to admit it. If they had been seasoned LS'r they would have not gone as far to agree to a party at your place, then backed out en route. They'd come right out and tell you, "no thanks". It's all about finding your comfort zone, especially with newbees. I wouldn't hold it against them, but it's not likely you'll be talking to them in the future.

You have to just let those kind go and not let them bother you, it's just the way it is in this lifestyle.

Just this past weekend, we went to a local pool party with a newbie couple (we KNEW better!) and after spending 2 hours trying to get the lady to loosen up some, we decided it might be best to head on back to our place and see IF they wanted to play or just chill out. It was 20 minutes from the party location to our house and they were to follow us home....well.....we noticed them staying back behind us and then somewhere along the way they turned around and headed for home! We've messaged and emailed and they've never responded so to heck with them. We're mad because we held back at the party to babysit them and they don't have the guts to even say "screw you" for the effort we put forth for them but, we will go on......there is another weekend on the way!

just take it as a "no" and move on. in this lifestyle, you need a thick skin, and a great sense of humor! BTW, did your lady make it safely off that fan? lol
