User Details are only visible to members.	T-Tim, too bad you are in Seattle and not at home. I normally bring the positive with me everywhere I go. Today, I am being somber because of recent events and a friend's sudden loss of her only child to suicide. My positive attitude is still intact but right now it's a just a bit saddened for my friend and those in Conn. who have suffered a staggering loss of their children and will not be having such a "happy holiday." A loss of that magnitude, just seems to put the rest of life's problems into a much clearer perspective is all. We should be grateful to have the typical complaints and BS problems that we see posted daily on the bitchfest. Those poor souls who will be burying their children instead of unwrapping Santa Clause would trade problems with us in a heartbeat. Shelly

For every tragic event you hear about, there are thousands of uplifting events that never make the news. The world may seem like a cold, harsh place at times but there really is a lot to love about it. I just try to "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive."

RF: I am in some serious trouble, one of the loves of my life, a usually sweet little blonde haired girl who calls me "Meme" -- not only looks like a mini-me, she is also very sassy, opinionated, stubborn, a bit loquacious at times and entirely too smart for one so young. She will only be 2 tomorrow, what in the world is she going to be like at 12. In light of all the tragedy this week, I suppose my real concern should be what kind of world will she be living in. Sometimes this place can be therapeutic.... roflmao BTW.. This has nothing to do with the last 2 postings, I have no idea what that's about..

User Details are only visible to members.	Without going into detail, the recent events in Connecticut had a huge impact on me. My children, all children, are precious. That, coupled with several other tragedies that have recently occurred, have really hit home. I was the one that mentioned taking stock & making amends because I feel it is the right thing to do. After the sudden death of a mutual friend, I offered a truce, which was not only not accepted, but ignored. It's difficult to follow through with that type of behavior. Regardless of the accusations that have been made on both sides, we are the only ones who know the real story here. If you feel that all you've said & done is truly "taking the higher ground", then you're really not the man I once thought you were. I do realize these are things that should be said in private, but that's not possible. I only hope your "groupies" will remain quiet. Now, I've made my peace.....I can "laugh & let it roll."

User Details are only visible to members.	RF about the "Who's On" feature: When I use Firefox, some of the profiles are not visible to me as they've been blocked to single males. But, when I use my crappy 0.5G cell phone's Internet service, I can see the profile of everyone that is logged in.

User Details are only visible to members.	It's impossible to be a parent and not feel moved by that. I was in Chicago when it happened and called my ex to make sure she was aware and to ask her to hug our kids for me when they were home from school. Talk about a helpless feeling. Someone else mentioned taking stock and making amends. Both good thoughts if one were to follow through. I try to take the high ground in the slings and arrows department. That way there's less for which to make amends. Laugh and let it roll.
