Its fun. go at your own pace. Never give in to what others wish , you will never be happy if your wants needs and desires are not fullfilled.If your always the one to give into others wants needs and desires you will not last long.It wil lbecome boring.

I am sort of confused about simple terminology here: are you IN the lifestyle if you are just learning about it, considering it, reading about it, or exploring your ideas about it? I'm not judging it, I'm just asking a simple clarification question. We run across a lot of younger couples (well, ok, our ages too) who are just checking things out. Maybe it seems kind of trendy right now or something. They like to dress up, like to see, possibly, what the others are doing, but have no real interest in actual swinging. There is a quote online on another site from the webmaster: "remember when swinging was about sex?" I think, yes, if you are in a long term serious relationship, you both need to be on the same page about lifestyle activities. It's ok that you don't share the same exact interests, but you both need to have the same core ideas and idealogy about it, talk about it: your boundaries, your preferences, etc. etc. And not make it into a "wow, I'd really like to try this, wouldn't you?" either putting her/him on the defensive, or setting it up so they feel they "have" to go along with it to keep the relationship. That simply won't work. We have different tendencies from time to time, but we always talk them out. Good luck, Gina

We have met this couple a couple of times and would probably agree with your comments about it being about him if I had just read the post and hadn't gotten to know them a bit. Having talked to her fairly extensively I don't think she is being pushed into this thing. She seems pretty receptive. She doesn't strike me as the kind who would let herself be bullied. Also she had in the past had an ongoing threesome relationship with a couple and that leads me to believe that she is genuinely interested. He seems ready to take things at her pace, so for an unmarried couple they seem to be as solid as one could expect.

User Details are only visible to members.	Yeah, I don't like the vibe of the she knew this is something she has to do if she wants a long term relationship comment either. We played with a couple like this....he is there to get his and she is there because if she isn't he is going to just cheat and do it anyways...and to tell you it was a disaster is to not even begin to go there and describe it. It was so bad we haven't played since and that was August. We were both really affected by it and haven't ventured into couples play or any play since. Its not fun learning after that gee, she doesn't want to be there. I think you should not be doing this. Shelly

Seems to me your are forcing this on her. IF this is the case, you won't be having a long term relationship.
