We have certainly noticed that trend, that the flirting, dancing, social aspect of it all is prominant, and from what we've noticed, from younger couples. See our ages for "younger" relevance!
Some just like to dress up sexy, and turn each other on, some are still unsure what they really want to do. There are many levels, and all or most evolve. For us, "swinging" is about having sex with others, friends or not. Most either become friends or start as friends. It's pretty amazing. Gina |

"Is this a Sex thing or Social thing?
It's BOTH. Swinging is, after all, just social sex, or "friend sex" as my wife likes to call it. You might run into someone at a club or party that rings your bell enough that you have a good time, but if you enjoy it enough to want to see them again and again, you BECOME friends as well. Unless you enjoy fucking people you don't like. Jim |

Just because we agree to meet you, doesn't mean you get a free pass. We love going out with grown ups and talking about grown up things. Risque and flirty conversation is fun. Naughty dancing and under the table play is fun. We both look forward to this fun, it is a form of foreplay and if it doesnt go well, you aint gettin any!! However if things go well...you just might.

You wife can label it any way that makes her feel comfortable. For us, we never go out expecting sex. Our first encounter was through SLS. Since then, we have gravitated more towards the on-premise club in our area. We do enjoy the social aspect of going out, dancing and talking to like minded people. If it ends in sex, that is great. If not, we still had a great time.
There are some people who want a "friendship first" relationship and there are others that will have random encounters. Ya'll just have to figure out what works for you. |

I have a question for those of you out there in this world… I have been reading a lot of profiles and not sure if it is me, but they seem to be telling the story that they are not swingers, they are looking for other adult to go out with and to be friends with. Now I know might be reading into this, so is there anyone else out there feels that this has become more of a social thing then a sex thing? If so… my wife hates the word swinger. She feels we are more open-minded and enjoy the flirting and the possibility that it could go “there”. Are we alone in thinking this?
